Our client in Örebro County is looking for a senior quality engineer focused on quality systems who wants to take a key role in strengthening and further developing the organization's quality work. The role is overarching and advisory, with a clear focus on structure, methods, and long-term improvement rather than operational daily quality work.

You will be an important support in the quality organization and serve as a sounding board for technicians, managers, and other key roles in the business. With your experience in quality and quality systems, you contribute to creating consensus, clarity, and engagement around quality issues throughout the organization, from production to management.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that the quality management system is effective, up-to-date, and meets applicable standards and customer requirements
• Supporting and developing the organization's methods within quality, processes, and documentation
• Being an expert support in quality systems, standards, and established quality tools
• Driving and coordinating internal audits and supporting external audits and certifications
• Contributing to improvement initiatives and quality-related projects
• Training, coaching, and supporting employees in quality methodology and tools
• Creating engagement and understanding for quality throughout the organization

You have a technical or quality-related post-secondary education or equivalent work experience. Several years of experience with quality systems, audits, and improvement work within the manufacturing industry is a prerequisite for success in this role.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has solid experience in quality work within the manufacturing industry
• Is well-versed in working with quality systems and quality standards such as ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949
• Is confident in the role of specialist and advisor and enjoys being a support to others
• Has the ability to work both strategically and practically with improvements
• Communicates clearly, pedagogically, and builds trust at different levels in the organization
• Is structured, solution-oriented, and used to driving change without formal mandate
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
